Three distinguished speakers will draw on their local, national and international
experience to present the case for practical action on food security:

Kirsten Larsen – Policy challenges Research Manager Victorian Eco Innovation

Kirsten will speak about the tenuous nature of our current food supply system and the
urgent need for innovative sustainable solutions.

Christian Nielsen – Executive Director Live and Learn Environmental Education
www.livelearn.org Christian will refer to to his extensive experience in environmental
education in the Pacific Island countries, highlighting what developing countries have to
teach us about food security.

Graeme George – Permaculture Trainer, Principal Earthcare Permaculture and
founding member Yarra Valley Permaculture. Graeme will speak about the
Permaculture approach to food security www.communityharvest.org.au
