Informative Workshops in Sustainable Food including: “pH Cooking”
demonstrations, Bushfood walk and talk, Saving and growing open pollinated
vegetable seeds, Wicking raised garden bed, Hot Compost Making, No-Diggardens,
Propagating by cutting, Heritage Pigs, Goat milking and
farming.......
Sustainable Food Enterprise Corner (am)
Discover how community businesses are contributing to food security and the
sustainable local economy. Bio-dynamic Marketing, Little Feet Farm (CSA)
Cafe Koha, Village Futures Foods. ECOSS Food Enterprise launch.
Food Security Forum:
Sustainable Food/Changing Climate (1 pm)
An engaging exploration of what 'food security' means for us in a time of
climate uncertainty. Kirsten Larsen (VEIL), Christian Nielsen (Live & Learn
Environmental Education) and Graeme George (Community Harvest) present
the case for practical and creative action.
Plus – The Woven Trees of Dreams magical children's
sculpture project, free donkey rides, Information on the
Sustainable Agriculture Diploma course and much
